The Fund supports students facing financial constraints by enabling them to access higher education on an equitable basis and continue their studies through to graduation.<br \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In the 2025 academic year, the Student Loan Fund provided financial support for educational expenses, including tuition fees, education-related expenses, and living expenses, in accordance with the Fund\u2019s criteria and regulations. This support helps reduce the financial burden on low-income students and their families. Borrowers are granted a two-year grace period after graduation or withdrawal from their studies. Once repayment begins, interest or other applicable benefits are charged at a rate of 1% per year, with repayment to be completed within 15 years from the date repayment becomes due. These measures help reduce students\u2019 financial burdens and increase opportunities for higher education among students with limited financial resources.<br \/>In addition, the University has designated staff and responsible units to administer the Student Loan Fund and provide students with information, guidance, and assistance throughout the loan application process. Support is provided from the initial provision of information and application submission through document verification, application status monitoring, and coordination and submission of information to relevant agencies. This ensures that students can complete the loan application process accurately and in accordance with the required procedures.<br \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0During the 2025 academic year, 100% of students who applied for the Student Loan Fund were able to access the loan entitlement, demonstrating the University\u2019s commitment to ensuring that financially disadvantaged students can access educational financial support, reduce financial barriers, and pursue higher education on an equitable basis.
