1.4.2 Local start-up financial assistance

Phetchaburi Rajabhat University places strong emphasis on supporting start-up entrepreneurs by facilitating access to funding opportunities and business development support. This is carried out through the University Business Incubator (UBI), which serves as an important mechanism for promoting and strengthening the capacities of students and entrepreneurs. The support covers various stages of business development, including business idea development, business plan preparation, product and packaging development, and preparation for connecting entrepreneurs with funding sources and relevant networks. These efforts help increase opportunities for entrepreneurs to establish and develop businesses with the potential for sustainable growth.
During the 2025–2026 fiscal year, the University implemented the University Business Incubation Project to promote and develop Start-up and Pre-Incubation entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs were guided through a screening and selection process to apply for financial support, while also receiving consultation and capacity-building support in business management, business plan development, accounting and taxation, as well as product and packaging development. These activities aim to strengthen entrepreneurs’ readiness to operate their businesses and increase their opportunities to access financial support.
As a result of these efforts, the University supported entrepreneurs through the business incubation process, comprising two Start-up products and four Pre-Incubation products. This reflects the University’s efforts to establish a comprehensive support system for entrepreneurs from the early stages of business development, covering knowledge provision, capacity building, and linkages to funding opportunities. These mechanisms help entrepreneurs develop their businesses, generate income, and build the readiness needed for continued and sustainable growth.
