SDG 3 GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

3.3.2 Health outreach programmes

The Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences offers a Traditional Thai Medicine Clinic and health promotion activities for all age groups in the community. Faculty members specializing in traditional Thai medicine and assistant Thai medicine practitioners provide services and health advice. They offer treatments for conditions such as osteoarthritis, migraines, allergies, respiratory diseases, and office syndrome.

The Faculty of Management Sciences organized the event “Young Managers Care About Mental Health” and hosted sports competitions to foster relationships. These activities aim to ensure that students maintain good physical health and can apply the knowledge gained from participating in these activities to their daily lives.

The Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences organizes herbal training activities in primary health care, herbal usage activities for the public, and health product processing activities from herbs. These initiatives are part of the Agricultural Learning Center Development Project based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. They are aimed at community members and village health volunteers (Aor Sor Mor) at Ban Nong Puen Taek Health Promoting Hospital in Kaeng Krachan District, Phetchaburi Province. The goal is to educate the public about the use of herbs in primary health care and the processing of herbal health products, enabling them to use this knowledge for self-care and to potentially create supplementary income through herbal product processing.
