4.3.4 Education outreach activities beyond campus
The university promotes lifelong learning by being conscious of the principle of equal distribution of educational opportunities and developing the quality of life of people in the communities to have a good life to be a strong country by integrating the body of knowledge into innovation and transferring it to the community for local development and upgraded skills development and reviewing skills for all ages, in all areas. In 2021, lifelong learning activities which are held outside the university can be divided into 2 types: 1) specific activities, which are held in the community based on the needs of the target groups to solve the community’s problems to be sustainable communities that consist of 24 activities and 2) a preliminary career development course is an activity which is held in the communities to learn and increase the necessary skills for the lives of people in the communities which include 6 activities, which can be summarized as follows:

1. The delivery of knowledge and products to Rai-Som community enterprise in the project for the development of the quality of life and the creation of a model enterprise for people who raise local chickens in Phetchaburi.

2. One activity, One district project “The development of products and marketing channels for coconut products which launch at the markets for Bang Khok villagers, Phetchaburi Province”.

A farming expert teaches cultivation and utilization of sugarcane products from Uncle Noi Suan’s garden, Rai Krang, Ban Lad.

Resulting in reducing the area of damage in the community caused by the encroachment of the Kuiburi wild elephants looking for food. Helping people in the community to live in their own community with the Kuiburi wild elephants in a caring and compassionate way. People in the community organize a zone to share food for the elephants and elephants do not encroach on the area to cause damage. Finally, helping people in the community to live happily as before. They can make a career without having to worry or have problems in coexistence with elephants.

Results
Going to the area to help solve the problem of waste management for the community by applying the 3R self-management principle, which is to reduce, reuse and recycle, emphasizing on the management of organic waste in the household from fresh food scraps to make bio-fermented water. Fertilizing trees and using wood scraps, branches to compost which resulting in the Ban Nai Dong community was awarded the National Community Health Award for Outstanding Community Health.
Finally, organizing a garbage donation activity in the community and use the money raised to help the underprivileged in the community.
23. Melon creates value for households in Nai Dong, Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province
